4 Reasons You Need The CROSSHIP Camping Hammock Underquilt

Solves Cold Butt Syndrome

1. Solves Cold Butt Syndrome

A sleeping bag alone in a hammock works against you.
Your body weight compresses the insulation directly underneath you, so the exact spot that needs warmth the most has the least. This hangs beneath the hammock instead, staying fully lofted all night.
41°F to 68°F, 4 Seasons

2. 41°F to 68°F, 4 Seasons

One afternoon nap and one overnight sleep require different gear - or this.
700g polyester fill in a 20D ripstop nylon shell keeps you warm well past the fair-weather season. It's the difference between a hammock that's fun for an hour and one you can actually sleep in.
Fits Most Hammocks

3. Fits Most Hammocks

A universal fit that actually stays where you put it.
A spacious 95 x 55 inch size with a split-end design keeps the underquilt in the correct position instead of sliding around mid-sleep. Most standard hammocks are covered without any guesswork.
Clips On in Minutes

4. Clips On in Minutes

Setup shouldn't be the reason you skip using it.
Elastic straps and bungee loops attach quickly, with tightness fully adjustable to your specific hammock. A few minutes of setup buys you a genuinely warmer night.

    Incredible Value, Excellent Product

My sons and I are serious about our camping and all of us recently decided to make the switch to full-time hammock camping, even though none of us had experience with underquilts in the cold. I purchased 5 of these units for us for Christmas 2025. We've already used this system several times now and all agree that we are super happy with the purchase. All 5 are of good quality and should hold up well as long as they aren't abused. I weigh 215 and the hammock doesn't seem bothered. The only con I have is this is definitely not a 2 person hammock as advertised but I still have plenty of space to get a little diagonal to sleep on my side. We decided to put the underquilt to the test last weekend knowing it would be cold, waking up in 30 degree weather with a dusting of snow, and all of us were super comfortable and toasty warm! The rain has not been an issue either as the fly is longer than the hammock and covers both ends well as long as it is set up properly. No warm weather yet to test the bug net but it shouldn't be a problem. The straps aren't as long as some I've had with other hammocks but none of us have had an issue so far. Comes with more than enough ropes and stakes. Each part (hammock, underquilt, and rainfly) have all packed back into their respective bags without issue. It feels good for a purchase to meet expectations and this product certainly does that.

Performed flawlessly in 0°F snow with the right setup

I bought this hammock for camping, but it ended up getting put to the test in some seriously extreme conditions. On my last trip, temps dropped to around 0°F and it was snowing—and I was honestly impressed with how well this held up.
Setup was still quick and manageable, even in the cold. The straps stayed secure, and the material didn’t get stiff or feel compromised in freezing temperatures.

The biggest game changer, though, was pairing it with an underquilt. If you’ve ever hammock camped in the cold, you know heat loss from underneath is the biggest issue. With the underquilt properly set up, it made a huge difference in maintaining body heat and blocking out the cold air. I stayed surprisingly warm throughout the night, and the hammock itself worked perfectly with that setup—no awkward gaps or shifting.

Comfort-wise, it’s excellent. The fabric distributes weight evenly, and I was able to lay at an angle and actually relax, even bundled up in layers.

It also packs down small and is easy to carry, which is a big plus for camping or hiking trips.
Bottom line: This hammock proved itself in 0-degree, snowy conditions. Pair it with a good underquilt, and you’ve got a solid cold-weather setup. Durable, reliable, and well worth it.

    Don't bug me

This has now been on a backpacking trip and several camping trips and has held up well. Zippers are good, no holes in the net and I haven't been gentle with it. Love the mosquito net after waking up one morning to a disturbingly large insect staring me in the face... from the other side of the net, thankfully. Trying to get it back into its sack is a bit obnoxious, but thats true for all camping gear it seems.
